SIS Canada provides consulting services to assist in the following areas:

1) Establishing a BC Offshore School

Experienced and qualified personnel will assist with developing a business plan and completing all requirements to achieve full certification. Although the paperwork and documentation can be daunting, full certification provides the security of knowing that your program replicates the best of what a BC program has to offer. Our staff will ensure that you move through the certification process efficiently and smoothly, saving your time and money and providing peace of mind.

2) Establishing and running a Canadian preschool / kindergarten program

Canadian preschools and kindergartens offer a play- based learning program that is both enjoyable for students and appropriate for the minds and bodies of young children. We will provide program guidelines that incorporate best practice of programs in Canada. We are also available to assist with procurement of the best Canadian learning materials, and to facilitate the recruitment of native English teachers, as well as the development of local English speaking staff.

3) Teacher recruiting and contracting for BC Offshore Schools and Preschool Programs

We maintain an Offshore Program Consultant in Canada who will assist with recruitment and selection of staff that is well qualified and competent. It is essential that reference checking, interviewing and selections of international staff be done carefully in order to ensure that teachers are capable of providing the best learning environment and teaching strategies to ensure the success of students and satisfaction of their parents.

4) Parent information session assistance, advertising material development (brochures, pamphlets, templates, etc.) 

Our team has experience in creating informative and attractive promotional materials for distribution to prospective clients. We create multilingual and multimedia parent presentations and have conducted many student recruitment sessions over the past several years. Our sessions address the needs and concerns of the target audience and provide a positive and upbeat picture of BC and Canadian educational practice.

5) Preparation for BC Government Inspections

Government inspections can be intimidating experiences if you are not sure how to prepare for them. Our offshore program consultant will help your personnel prepare for inspection, helping them to anticipate what will be asked of them and helping them to proactively develop responses prior to the inspection. This ensures successful outcomes with few or no follow up recommendations to slow your school's development after the inspection. Upon request, the consultant can be available during the inspection to assist with hosting inspectors, to interpret Ministry regulations and to respond to inspector questions and concerns in a timely and positive manner.
